Founded in 2008, “From The Depth” grew up quickly as a tight-knit metal band. Their career counts up today a remarkable number of live shows in the most renowned Italian clubs and international venues. In 2010 their demo “The Will to be the Flame” raised the interest of Rising Records (UK) who offered to take charge of production and worldwide distribution of their first album: “Back to Life”. Recorded between England and Italy and released in November 2011, it was immediately followed by a long series of concerts.
In 2012 From The Depth played as opening act for Rhapsody of Fire‘s European tour, at Metalcamp 2012 with Sabaton, Korn, Epica, Amon Amarth in Tolmin (Slovenia) and they also supported Moonspell and Lordi at Metalitalia Festival in Milan (Italy). 2013 has been another year of important live shows as well as rich of songwriting activities. In fact, while marking the stage with Sonata Arctica and Dark Tranquillity in Istanbul (Turkey) at “Headbangers’ Weekend 2013” and sharing the main stage at Metaldays 2013 in Tolmin (Slovenia) with King Diamond, Sonata Arctica, Iced Earth, Annihilator and In Flames, they continued to write new songs.
By the end of 2016 “Back To Life” goes officially sold out and a new limited edition EP is published with the name of “Perseverance”.
From 2018 the actual stable line-up is in place and after some live gigs the band focus on studio material to finalize “Moments“. The album is mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio in January 2020 and feature, among others, musicians like Roberto Tiranti and Giacomo Voli. While working on new material, the band leverage new members ideas to write even more songs and a new album is already written and in the early stage of production.
After the re-release of “Back to Life” for the 10 years anniversary, with a remastered version including brand new bonus tracks, they also released a limited edition 7″ vinyl EP “Nights of Summer Side“, with covers of 80’s and 90’s pop-dance songs.
The new album is expected to be released within the second half of 2023.
